What is
Occupational Therapy?
Occupational Therapy is a person centred profession which promotes health, independence and wellbeing through daily occupation. At My Occupational Therapy Tasmania, we enable people to participate in their daily activities by enhancing their ability to engage in their chosen occupations. To achieve this, we modify the occupation or the environment to facilitate goal achievement.

Assessments
A wide range of formal and informal assessment options
Personalised programs
Person centred goal based programs to suit the needs of our clients
Individual therapy
Tailored individual therapy to meet clients’ goals
Written reports
Written reports to clients who require a more comprehensive and documented record of their treatment progress
Flexible appointments
Our therapy services are available in a variety of settings, including in-clinic, telehealth and home/community visits to provide clients with a range of options to choose from
Education and training
We provide education and training for parents, carers and other professionals
Accessing our services
We require a valid referral before we can schedule any appointments. Once a referral is received, our friendly intake staff will contact you for any additional information and to book your first appointment.
Referrals can be via one of the following pathways: NDIS, Home Care Package, Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP), Private/Self-referral
Fees and cost
Due to our range of services available, My Occupational Therapy Tasmania fees can vary depending on your referral pathway. Contact us to discuss on (03) 6431 8411.
